Participants: Brad Small, Fred & Carol Schaeffer, Jack Denman, Allen Trefry

Brad opened with prayer at 6:33 PM: Thanking our Heavenly Father for his presence with us and asked that He would direct our conversation for His honor and glory.

Fred shared a devotional using Psalm 39:3: '... My heart became hot within me. As I mused, the fire burned, then I spoke with my tongue.' (ESV) ,,Fred recalled how the disciples on the road to Emmaus spoke of their hearts burning within them when Jesus opened the Scriptures to them. We were encouraged to read the Gospel of John.

Re: Australia Missions Trip Update: 12 sites have been confirmed for full on evangelism events and another 4 to 5 are being worked on. There is a need to get the prayer letter out; target Sydney, Redfern suburb. Brad will follow up on the prayer letter. Re reimbursement ticket for Pastor Jim, Fred believes Sylvia has taken care of it. Re George Kneeland and a missions trip to Australia. Allen reported that he had spoken with George and that he was open to the idea. Brad talked with George and filled him in on more of the details. George hadn't gotten back to Brad. As far as people coming right now it is just Jim.

.Schaeffer's trip to the US this year: The dates are Aug 9th arriving in Boston and leave approx Nov 9th. Pray for Carol as she works to complete a two continent mailing. A discussion ensued regarding the events and finances. With the increase in our scope expenses are also increasing.

Re the main event: The theme could be 'On to Asia'; this year's missions trip to Australia and plans for the future should be addressed. With regard to the event's details, Allen and Brad are to review the event time check list for our needs. It was resolved that Gordon College should be the sight for the event. Brad will follow up with the Gordon Collage contacts regarding availability of the resources we used last year.

There is still a need for Fred and Carol's lodging after Labor Day (9/5) to 11/9, and for a full size sedan for the 8/9 thru 11/9 time. Allen will draft a church bulletin item for Byfield Parish and email it to his ACTS contact list for possible use at their church.

ACTS web site: The matter of updating the ACTS web site for donations and sale of Aboriginal art was brought up. Allen stated that Simon would need to have the specifics of the work to be done expressed before he could determine his time requirement and make a commitment to it. Brad and Allen are to arrange a meeting with Simon to discuss the matter.

Next Meeting date: Mon July 25, 2011, 6:30 PM US EDT Allen will look for people who are online around 6:15 PM to facilitate a 6:30 start time.
Allen asked about mailings of minutes and meeting announcements; Fred said to email them the Joel and he would send them out to his list of about 98 people. Fred asked Allen to email the announcement of the next meeting as soon as possible.

Closing prayer. Allen thanked our Heavenly Father for the technology that we can use to communicate with people around the world and to open a way to the Redfern community for the saving of souls there.

Respectfully submitted,

Allen Trefry, Secretary, A.C.T.S., NA
