October 19, 2011

Participants: Fred & Carol Schaeffer, Doug Parsons, Brad Small, Sylvia Trefry, Allen Trefry

Fred opened- (at 7:50 AM) reading Nehemiah's prayer. After Fred, Brad prayed for wisdom and insight.

Fred asked that we focus on three things during this meeting: the executive director position, resource building and prayer warrior recruiting.

Executive Director, NA:
Fred was going to meet with three people from CT today. Sylvia told of contacts she had made and would follow up on. Tom K will be meeting with the Schaeffer's Monday night with a possible candidate for the position.

Allen asked about how the position was going to be funded. The current position description under the heading 'Funding' states: '$15 - 20K annual salary, incentives and expense reimbursement, fully funded.' After discussion it was changed to read: 'Annual salary, incentives and expense reimbursement are open to discussion.' Fred stated that the key thing is that we will work with them to get them fully funded before they start. The Time Requirement was also changed to read '15+ hours a week.' *Allen to send his Ex Dir recruiting email to local BOA

Send-off Event:
Will be held at the Beverly Nazarene Church on Saturday November 5th from 2 - 6PM *Brad to draft the invitation
*Sylvia to head up food, get numbers to Sylvia for planning. *Doug to draft itinerary for the event
*Allen to draft agenda for BOA meeting to take place the first hour.

Next Meeting:
The next meeting will be held at 7:30 AM, Wed Oct 26 2011 via Skype (no fact to face location). Allen will setup the teleconference connections around 7:15 AM to facilitate a 7:30 start time.

Closing prayer: Brad closed the meeting in prayer.
