Dear A.C.T.S. Action Prayer Warriors,

We are delighted to announce that Roger G.B. Broome IV of Essex, MA (USA) has accepted the new position of Executive Director North America for A.C.T.S. Inc.! This is the first time that A.C.T.S. has formerly hired a part-time manager for operations, administration, communication, development and outreach. We see so much potential in the "next journey" for A.C.T.S. and Rev Fred and Carol Schaeffer that the A.C.T.S.' Board of Advisors felt that the investment in a person to work on these ongoing needs and future opportunities was part of God's plans for the ministry. We are excited to see how God continues to guide and provide for A.C.T.S. to help the aboriginal people throughout the continent of Australia. We are also convinced that His plans now include the expansion and development of relationships in Asia, through the vast intercontinental aboriginal communities and their connections. This confirmed by a recent trip by Fred to Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China that was bl essed by His continued providence in Christian commitments, connections and direction.

With all this rich opportunity in front of us, we felt the need to have an Executive Director here in the States, to head up all the necessary organization and development needs for the mission. Mr. Broome developed his expertise through decades of executive and professional development. He is currently President and co-founder of Broome and Lawson Inc, a full service development counsel for not-for-profit organizations. He has taught the course at Boston University on fund raising for not-for-profits for years. Roger was the former Vice President for Development, Director of University Development at Tufts University in Medford, MA. He also held Director of Development positions at A Better Chance Inc, the Opera Company and the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA, as well as the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and the Julliard School of Music in New York.

Roger believes that it is time to use his extensive experience in development for a "greater cause" and to bring glory to God and His mission around the globe. Working in this role for A.C.T.S. is a mutually agreeable relationship to help expand this ministry not only for Australia, but also this next phase to include Asia. Roger will be focusing on many administrative and operational tasks that need to be addressed, and more importantly the ongoing development efforts needed to increase the fundraising budget for the entire volunteer and outreach efforts occurring in Australia right now and Asia in February 2013.

Please welcome Roger with open arms, hearts and minds as he invests time reaching out to all A.C.T.S. volunteers, supporters, and action prayer warriors to help them participate in this important ministry - even more important for "times like these" around the globe!
