Dear A.C.T.S. Action Prayer Warrior,

As A.C.T.S. team drove the two hour drive west of Rockhampton, QLD to Woorimbinda, whose population is around 1,000, we did not fully know its sad 85 year history or its recent title as "the most violent indigenous community"(1). After meeting with Pastor Shea Taylor and his wife, Leonie, in Rockhampton, we were prayerfully planning on bringing the Gospel to 100 children and fellowship to Carol Major, our sole contact, and her family.

By God's grace, Carol Major helped gain support from her daughter and granddaughters, the local radio station operator, Diane, the Police Boy's Club and David, the primary school chaplain. God gave us 70+ children to care for. Each of the 43 children who received the Gospel through the "Jesus for Children' film and Carol Major's and Fred's testimonies responded to God's saving grace. Later, Fred went amongst the 49+ children "hanging out" near the Kangaroo Stadium park at night 38 confessed Christ as Lord and Savior. A total of 81 children aged 4-14 were saved.

At about 10:30 p.m. five of the children led Fred to a "family" adjoining the park who received Testaments, tracts, and Fred's Gospel message. A young woman, Carol Major's niece, fully received Christ as her Savior.

Please praise Him that He has been glorified by the Holy Spirit's movement amongst a significant proportion of Woorimbinda's sacred children. We believe that there is revival in this place. Praise the Lord that Carol Major knows each person within whom God is moving and is committed to discipling them through their school and her church. Please pray that: 1) Pastor Shea, his wife, Leonie, and others will "pour themselves out" into each member of this rapidly growing family of new Christians. 2) All those that have received evangelistic training and or materials from A.C.T.S. (i.e. Tony Tierney, Dennis and Tom Jerrard, Carl and Gail Musch, Gordon and Lois Johnson, and Tony Atanosovski) will continue to conscientiously share Jesus with the next generation.

Please pray for God's mercy, forgiveness and love to fully penetrate all Aboriginal communities, especially pray for their lost sacred children...
