Cyclone/Hurricane Ita was depressed and claimed no deaths or property loss with the principal exception of where it touched down in Cooktown, QLD and blew off the roof of the town’s pub/gambling and drinking center.

A.C.T.S. “Jesus for Children” 2014 Family (Pastor Alvaro, Kathy D, Kathy O, Emitai, Hope and Dale) overcame many spiritual obstacles such as being in the eye of a predicted Force 5 cyclone/hurricane and retaine3d their focus on witnessing to Aboriginal children through the power of the Holy Spirit. We saw God’s hand move mightily throughout the Tour.

Nearly all of the 78 children seeing the “Jesus for Children” movie, and 10 adults, responded to God’s saving grace amidst many local testimonies and prayers. This result was surprisingly close to Merciful Redemption/A.C.T.S./IMLA Alliances’s pre Cyclone Ita objective of 100 new souls confessing Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Linda and George in Mossman Gorge, Vince and Hope in Mareeba, Ernest, Charmayne and Yolanda Stafford plus Aunty Pam from Yarrabah agreed to use A.C.T.S. materials to disciple the new “babes in Christ” to recommence and or reinforce their children’s ministry.

Prior to Ita, another evangelistic team brought Christ witness to the area between Laura and Yarrabah, Qld, the areas you and many others prayed for.

Pastor Steve Acri reports that the Holy Spirit moved 1,191 persons from Laura to Yarrabah to confess Christ as Lord… church attendance has increased by 30 – 40% amongst participating churches!!
